Concurrent Thinking

Test analyst

Concurrent Thinking is looking for a test analyst to join our development team. Experience of Ruby and web application testing frameworks and some knowledge of the Ruby-on-Rails framework is desirable, but if you are an experienced tester that hasn't used Ruby and wants to learn, that's acceptable too. You will be working in a team environment to assist with the preparation of test plans and the testing of software of an enterprise level management appliance. We make extensive use of open source solutions including: Linux, Apache, Ruby-on-Rails, PostgreSQL and Subversion. Linux experience is highly desirable as our development environment and products are Linux based. Experience of automated testing frameworks such as Capybara or Selenium, and BDD frameworks such as RSpec and Cucumber is preferred but not required.

However, we are always happy to receive CVs from interested individuals with a strong background in computer programming, notably those with expertise in: web-based programming (HTML, CSS and Javascript; Ruby-on-Rails; Flash and HTML5), service oriented architectures, scalable software design and relational data-bases.
